The Rotary Club of La Quinta is pleased to announce our Fourth Annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser was a great success.
The event was held March 30, 20 19 at the La Quinta Artisan Studios, Old Town La Quinta, a warm and inviting place where people of all ages can explore their creativity. A terrific time was had by over 170 attendees and $15,000 dollars was raised to support Scholarships for La Quinta High School graduates, exemplifying Rotary’s motto of Service above Self.

This past March, La Quinta Rotarians joined with other community members to present four mock interview workshops to La Quinta High School seniors.  Approximately 180 students experienced two mock job interviews each with written and oral evaluations.  The project was coordinated with lead academy teachers, Mr. Kevin Schmidt of the Public Services Academy, and Ms. Kathryn Pedersen of the Medical Health Academy.
